"underneath your hand would be me" is actually
"And in your head would be me"
But this song is incredible. I love it. |

Actually, the lyrics are:
Instead of, "love in it comes too late (???)", it's actually "love becomes too late"
And
"when MUTUALITY
cannot exist
it doesn't exist
my love turns jealousy
when CAUTIOUSLY
you told me
it doesn't exist
it can never be
anytime
anytime
your recognizing
love in me
could set rain free
when a cloud becomes
heavy with rain
i can no longer hold the pain"
Other than that they're pretty spot on. |

Oh and I was reading A Million Little Pieces by James Frey, which I reccomend to anyone, and in it was written "Replacement of one addiction for another addiction. Replacement of a chemical for a God."
I immediately thought of this song. Replacement of drugs, in this case, for religion. Which is what has been implemented everywhere. "If you have a problem, turn to God." No, if you have a problem, turn to something that has a working mind and can think.
'nuff said. |

| City of Caterpillar – Minute-hour-day-week-month-year-(the Faiths In My Chest) Lyrics

The world is blown apart (?) by corporations and business men and politicians. Basically, what they’re doing …unclear… And then every time you turn on the TV, it says buy a new TV or what is more special now…unclear… Here, have some credit, you know, have some more credit …unclear…. And they set out more credit to pay these debts. It’s a vicious circle, it’s a big conspiracy, I think. And we’re all the fools because we’re sitting there…unclear… and they grew up with them, but these people on top of it, they’re just creating profit(?), taking all the money. And they know what’s happening, they know that there is ...unclear part…You know, they’re not stupid, …unclear… I’m not a genius or scientist, but I can see what’s happening, so they know exactly what’s happening…unclear…
That's my horrible assumption. I'm sure it's innacuarate, but it's nearly impossible to understand everything he's saying. |

The intro to this song is so chaotic, but some how the choppiness sets the mood perfectly. But then the racing guitar and screaming keeps slowing down, until the lyrics talks about embracing. This song is obviously about seperation. |

Malady is a talented and creative band aswell, despite being a genre away from CoC. Every 'ex-pg. 99' band manages to conjure so many new sounds, from Pygmy Lush to Haram, they're all great, yet so different, and it's as inspirational as hell. Oh and if anyone somehow has the lyrics to Driving Spain Up A Wall, please post them. Best song ever. :(. |

This song is gorgeous and even if the lyrics are absolutely simple, without any Billy Werner tricky puns, they're straight to the point. I'm not a fan of the singing, but the first tangled introductory screams are just wow. |

Classic Orchid song. This is what made me fall in love with these fine gentlemen. Needless to say, their newer stuff is pretty good, but nothing compares with late 90's Orchid.
Congratulations, they motherfucked you all.
So in your face, I love you Jayson. |

It seems as if Billy is saying that we, ourselves, created a god, a diety. But we cannot credit ourselves with the creation of this god, because it's impossible that us, measley humans, can build something so intricate, that we just don't and can't understand it.
"Out from oil,
out from marble,
out from sound"
We've painted, carved, and read, to our peers, children, and lovers our works over the years, but still, we haven't realized that the comfort of a greater being just lies in our own words. |

"because in this pool it's sink or swim but you're caught doing the dead man's float i wish i could give you something different but i'm lying in the water face down beside you"
FD has some golden lyrics. Like that above. I love their related analogies. And also, about the 'wanna be emo' bands stated in the above post, I wouldnt call them emo really, but more, ahem, 'rock' bands? |

This song has such good flow. Especially where it comes to the "destroyed"s. Like I've said trillions of times before, amazing, life changing band. |

I find Notes has a lot more of a rock influence to it than any of their prior releases, but nonetheless, this is flooded with lovely vocals and talent. Good song. |

This song is so beautiful. It starts out so powerfully. The dual vocals just add. I usually have a distaste for singing and screaming combined, but The Khayhembii Communique do this vocalling approach justice, a whole lotta justice. |

This is one of the most creative songs I've heard in a while.
Id say the best song off of Today Puberty, Tomorrow The World. |
