My favorite song off of the new album, which I am a huge fan of. For too long ska was very "in your face." I like their new sound, it's a breath of fresh air and a nice change of pace. |

I think it's about the differences between the poor and the well off. I think it's from a point of view of a poor person who realizes that he's getting screwed by the system, and he realizes that, in the Bible, God (the master) always seemed to screw over his followers (Jesus, Abraham). So he realizes he can do nothing about it, that's it just the way it is. |

About how the Avalon and Axis nightclubs closed last fall in an effort to clean up Lansdowne St. and make way for a larger venue for big name concerts. This is kind of a crazy call to arms to get a different venue for shows to happen in Boston. |

I think it's a song trying to cheer up someone who had been in a relationship and thought that they would be together forever and it didn't work out. |

It's a different version of "Drunks and Children" which they released on Devils Night Out. And these are the correct lyrics:
Don't mind when it happens
no problem when I am saying it
but when I lose my mind, kick my behind
because I hate when my mind keeps replaying it
I'm not bragging and I'm not proud
I hang around with a drunken crowd
we are happy, that I can say
and until we're not I kid you not, we're gonna stay that way
my life would start to settle down... Johnny!
then you came along and you turned it upside down... Vegas!
drunks and children they always tell the truth... Johnny!
but I'm sober and older and could've held on to... My Youth!
drinkin' the other day
I said I loved you, you turned away
maybe the drinking, made me cry
but I'm a happy, very happy, very happy guy
drunks and children they tell the truth
and that's what I am a drunken youth
and when I'm drinking I don't know why
but I'm a happy, very happy, very happy guy
sometimes when I am playing
I never watch what I am saying
sometimes I lose my head
I lose my head and things get said I never should have said
sometimes I get housed
housed soused and shoot off my mouth
and sometimes I kick it out, and I don't know what I'm talkin' about
I don't know what I'm talking about
you know, I've made mistakes, I've had my ups and downs
my ins and outs, my share of bad breaks
but when it's all been said and done
I raise my beer and I swear God it's been fun...
good God oh my God good God good God good God good God God its been fun! |

Great song, about being in a club and seeing a sharp dressed man and complimenting him, and noticing that he's carrying a gun and getting nervous about being around him or offending him for fear of dying. |

Great song. Pimaxc got it down, it's about just trying to get men with some sort of track record so she can brag about it instead of someone who'll really care for them. |

Impossible on Guitar Hero III... but a group of my friends have deemed it our theme song because it's high intensity and high energy, just like us. As for what it's about... who cares, just bang your friggin head! |

Unreal live. The crazy tetris music. Didn't quite catch the Jay Z reference til you mentioned it. But it's there. MC Lars is unreal, and I wish he were more known. |

I've seen Scott during some shows sing the girl part in "She Has A Girlfriend Now" in his unnaturally high voice, and I gotta say, it's the funniest thing I've ever seen.
As for this song, I think it's about getting drunk and not really having a good time, and kinda just lamenting about his life. |

It's more like this dude who is constantly getting shit on by life, yet, he's with this person, whether a friend, gf, or whatever, and he always feels like a winner. This song makes me feel good no matter what day i'm having. |

I just saw these guys last week, and let me tell you, this song is very popular among the fans. And they seem to play it enthusiastically live, so whether they like it or not, it makes no difference, because it's all about the crowds, and the crowds seem to enjoy. |

I think that it's about an older guy who might stretch the truth about what he's done or how he's lived, but they make for great stories so they don't care, cause "What he's telling us isn't hurting anyone." |

When I first heard this song I thought it was like some newly discovered Queen song. Then I found out later it was Mika and I was shocked. It's very catchy, and I think it made the soundtrack for that Adam Sandler and Kevin James about them being gay. |

I love this song because of the fact that it changes from being a kinda peppy, happy song, and then you can sorta gauge how it turns into a darker song, and it makes it that much better. |

I just listened to both verisions of the song and when it comes to the trombone/trumpet duel, I must say that I prefer Streetlight's version to it. This is with no hours of horn playing experience, but with many years of horn listening experience, I just have to say, I like the Streetlight version better. |

Yeah, when i first saw them live, I didn't know what to expect. But then I realized that their music is really fun, and usually have some sort of message to them. This song is definately about stupid kids not thinking before dropping outta school. |
