I think the meaning of this song is pretty obvious. It's about a middle-aged guy who's happy with where he is in life. His friends may be going through mid-life crises & trying to act young again, but he's perfecly content being with his wife. |

It's possible that both Hinder & Jack Ingram were recording this song around the same time. It might not be a "re-make" in that sense.
I know that recently I've noticed that two artists have the exact same song on both of their most recent CDs (in one case, the CDs came out a week or two apart; too close for the second to have "re-made" the song). It could be because they both found the same song & wanted to record it. |
