PJ Harvey – The Dancer Lyrics | 18 years ago |
^^ It's indeed at the depth of my love. This song might just be my favorite of PJ Harvey. I love the sound of it, an entire scene starts playing in my head each time I listen to it. Beautiful. |
PJ Harvey – One Line Lyrics | 19 years ago |
"And I draw a line To your heart today To your heart from mine A line to keep us safe" So simple, yet effective. |
PJ Harvey – Big Exit Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I think it's about how scared she feels in this world, and she wants the gun to protect her, not to commit suicide. |
Rufus Wainwright – Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This song is so good, metaphors like I've never seen them. I agree with all that has been said here, it's so nice to see how other people look at a song and then realize what it means to yourself. By saying he's a little bit heiress my guess is that he means he inherits certain traits and tendencies from his parents. I could be totally wrong, but this is what first entered my head. It's probably a brilliant metaphor, but at this moment I can't really figure it out. |
Stereophonics – Vegas Two Times Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The intro is so good, I can't sit still when I hear those guitarstrings. This song has to be about partying while they're on tour. I wonder what they mean by 'Vietnam vet taxi ride'? |
of Montreal – Disconnect the Dots Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Does anyone have an idea what could be meant by 'disconnect the dots', I keep thinking it's a metaphor for something big but I can't figure it out. I love this song however, I agree with all the comments, it's so sweet ^^ |
Incubus – Are You In? Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I've seen it yes, but still I think you can interpret it in the way you feel it should. All they sing is 'are you in, it's so much better when everyone is in', it can take many turns if you keep the lyrics that minimalistic. |
Stereophonics – Mr. Writer Lyrics | 19 years ago |
It must be so frustrating how journalists write crap about you that actually hurts. But it's their job, and they go on home without another thought about how it could upset a person. Stupid world. |
The Cardigans – Explode Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I too think it's about someone close to her with an addiction and she's offering help. "Ease your trouble We'll pay them double" You have to take responsibility for your feelings and thoughts and learn how to deal with them. Otherwise they'll return to you twice as hard, cause now there's the addiction too. So "we'll pay them double". |
The Cardigans – Paralyzed Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I feel like this is about your profoundest feelings brewing deep inside you and you want to prevent those feelings coming out cause you know you won't be able to stop them. They will make you do things you don't have full control over. "Never lose your grip Don't trip Don't fall You'll lose it all" But you know you can't ignore it cause real feelings stay. "You can not lie That's a needless fight" It's an amazing song, Nina's voice definitely hits home. |
Zornik – Demons You Have Liked Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I'm unsure what this song is about. Does he dislike his own life and wants to hunt those of other people? At least is sounds good :) |
Zornik – You Move Me Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Not their strongest song, it sounds too average to me, nothing special. |
Incubus – Are You In? Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The lyrics don't show their talent, but it's def a hot song. I am in! Whatever it means.. everyone should give it his own interpretation. That's so cool about good songs ;) |
