| Hole – Jennifer's Body Lyrics

I actually think this song is about Jennifer Finch, Courtney's best friend in the 80's. She never died that I know of, but they often swaped boyfriends, so it could be about being cheated on. |

Anyway... I agree, this song is fucking awesome. I orgasmed the first time I heard it. I think she incorperates Kurt's death, the celebrity world and herself into one. I mean, she has all this fame and fortune but she doesn't have Kurt. But I think she realizes these things. |

man, kurt was unbelievably attractive.
one of the more memorable dreams ive had was making out with kurt cobain on top of a car. mmm.
i know they always talking about courtney murdering him, but she sang a song with hole, a cover, called 'pale blue eyes' and every word was filled with this longing.. you can tell she really loved him.

| Evanescence – Going Under Lyrics

I have no idea what the fuck is up with "Evanescence" pretending to be Amy Lee. She's completely oblivious that the video she's discribing is for 'Everybody's Fool". And for the people on here who said this song was about abuse, you're right. Its about one of Amy Lee's ex-boyfriends who abused her. I'm not sure if it was sexual, emotional or physical, but I know its abuse. |

"The worst is over now, and we can breath again"
-Good for someone who is trying to recover from something.
"There's so much left too learn, but no one left to fight"
-Anybody know the meaning to this metaphor? |

She could have written it about Kurt, but I know it wasn't about his death cause it was written way before she was even convinced he could kill himself. |

This song is also about Kurt. She's kind of being sarcastic by saying it's a lot of fun to be in Nirvana. Kurt hated being a rockstar, he was unable to handle success, which is partly why he killed himself. She said at the ceremony for Kurt's death about a million times, 'If you can't handle it, then don't be a fucking rock Star KURT" |

| Radiohead – How to Disappear Completely Lyrics

This song is about trying to overcome something that is so unbareable. "I'm not here, this isn't happening" I know that much because I heard that when Thom was on tour in England he feel into a mad depression or something and he remembered one of his wise friends telling him that whenever he was in great pain he would count to 100 and back again saying "I'm not here, this isn't happening, I'm not here, I'm not here" and it was a method of dealing with his emotions. |

| Courtney Love – Life Despite God Lyrics

She does sound like Janis Joplin and anything 60's psychedelic rock/blues. Its about Kurt, I think. She's always said that she saw his suicide coming. It kinda makes sense how she says "I used to bleed for you, just to watch you fade" |

| Courtney Love – Never Gonna Be The Same Lyrics

This is my absolute favorite song on the album. It's about giving up in a sense that she has no power... "And if you wanted water, and if you wanted food, and if you wanted shelter, I cannot come over to you, and if you want love now, or a needle and a spoon, you gotta show a little faith in me now baby, I cannot come over to you" and all the other parts where she discusses not being about to reach to the other side. |

| Hole – Boys On The Radio Lyrics

|
I think this song has something to do with what she said at the MTV music awards with Madonna. She was talking about how she dates all the rock stars in the music industry (referring to them as surgeons) and how the relationships always fail. When she says "Oh the boys, on the radio/they crash and burn, they fold and fade so slow" and the rest of the lyrics she has somehow incorperated Kurt's death in there. Just my theory. |
