Not sure what this song is about, but Mr. Farr is the name of a character he played in 1991's Rubin and Ed. Perhaps he particularly hated playing Rubin Farr. Apparently he was in character as Rubin Farr during his infamous Letterman interview. |

Like most others, I agree Eminem kills it and his verse is the best (why wasn't his last album more like that?!). To me, it's about each person's experience in the rap game. However, I think Drake is a bit indulgent about getting to where he is with no help. It's not that he didn't have considerable help; it's just that he wasn't yet signed to a label. Plus he was a successful actor prior to his success as a rapper. I should clarify though, that I do think it's pretty impressive to work with so many established artists without being signed. |
