this album was released in march of 2001, so unless chris carrabba is a psychic, that part of the song has no relevance to september 11th,nor does anything else on the album. this is a great song i must say. |

i have yet to read the book, but i must say that this is simply the most beautiful song that i have ever heard in my entire life. it is poetic and simply a musical masterpiece, and it puts me in a trance everytime i hear it. it is such a soothing and mellow tone, and i close my eyes and drift away to places beyond consciousness when i hear this song...absolutely surreal. |

i think that this is std's best song, both recorded and live. when chris sang this, it was like a musical explosion. it's fast paced and full of energy, and the lyrical content is so poetic. i adore this song, it's definitely my favorite std song on the best album i own, hands down. |

i saw a std show in manville,nj 2 yrs ago, and the crowd was urging him to play "jodie", and he jokingly said "uhh..we can't. jodie got hit by a truck..yeah she's dead now." and then he started laughing. so i don't really know what the hell that's about, but it was funny shit and this song kicks ass. pointless story. later. |

this song was first recorded on a demo, and the original lyrics did say "i bit my lip, and you were like 'fuckin hell yeah' then we smiled..." and the end is "i could win you over acting cool... real fucking romance." i guess they intentionally wanted us to take the time to figure out the actual lyrics instead of simply reading it from an insert inside the cd..those crazy jersey kids. |

the violin during the chorus is absolutely beautiful, as are the backing vocals during "keeping me here".. it's so heavenly. i fell in love with this song the second i heard it...one of dashboard's best. |
