When I heard this song I was at school and I almost started crying infront of all my friends. I think this song is about the relationship between a boy and his father...obviously if you read "hey dad look at me"......and the dad doesn't think his son is doing good enough, he isn't perfect....but I also think this song is about a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship.....ie. the guy or girl made a bad choice and "now it's just too late and we can't go back" and now they are having a fight or breaking up and the one who made the bad choice thinks they aren't perfect enough for their "lover" |

I agree with eyetimebomb..........I think this song is about a guy trying to get the girl that he loves or cares about a lot by doing everything possible but she doesn't know exactly what she wants from him or she isn't noticing him and what he is doing |
