A person who makes themselves happy is a succesful person.
All the parallel lines are my favorites, the midterm/rock song, the winter holiday/practice. It says to me "you have your boring stable life, and I'm going to risk it, play in a band, and give it my best shot."
"I guess I could have gone..." away to college?
Lyrically reminds me of going away to college by blink 182. lockers, departure. Love this song. |

The songs lyrics are pretty straightforward, but "Pale Horse?" I don't see any references to ponies or anything. |

damn theres a verse missing, a good one too. Something like "Thinking back to the time when he thought that noone cared, celebrating apathy controlled yet unaware, wondering if people thought that he was dumb and slow (maybe I dunno but I don't think so) slip n slide in the yard so sad those days are gone, grass stains on his pants got yelled at by his mom." I love this song, The opinion of people who judge you by your appearance aren't important anyway, and grasping this idea makes a lot easier to be happy. |

She's pissed off again, because he is leaving to do his job. She would have him tethered to a ring by the phone, but the tether is slipping. |

bad-assness. they pull off putting in things like "eagle turns his head and spits out a sigh," quite well. |

After a terrible break-up, this was the first song I was able to listen to without getting depressed. My favorite big d song maybe, this or Fatman. Alas, they won't do it live.... |

Seems like something along the lines of ones image, how everyone has a persona they show everyone else to protect their inner stuff. I miss Skif Dank! |

This song kicks i love the horns on the upbeats. I love the word pussy and how I automatically think of vulva when I hear it. |

What would I change what would i want to stay the same... Again, the bass player's singing contrasted against the guitarist's is just so friggin awesome. People change; you rarely see it in yourself, but you see it in everyone else all the time. |

This song has sooo much emotion. To me it means something a little different, because this song made stop and look around at what I was doing with my life. Getting tired of doing the right thing. I think the song should be changed to Alison's War. I love it when the bass player sings, he's awesome. |
