Ok I know what the song means per say but every once in a while songs help form stories in my head and this is what i get out of the song. To em the song seems like someone (a mother) talking to the child they abandoned (or gave up for adoption) or perhaps the child talking to the biological mother. I know it seems odd. "Come up to meet you, Tell you I'm sorry, You don't know how lovely you are, I had to find you, Tell you I need you, Tell you I set you apart, Tell me your secrets, And ask me your questions, Ah let's go back to the start," The mother going up to meet the orphan, apologizing for abandoning them, trying to reassure the child and telling it that it's ok, ask me everything you want to know. Has anyone noticed that he uses the word 'haunt' in two songs? Gosh he must of really thought of this loved one a lot for her to haunt him so... The thing about this song is that the whole thing is sad and it makes you feel like "wow, he lost her." and then very simply in the end...he's back in her open arms. sigh... |

To me it seems that the girl (or significant other) is a bit...self destructive and depressed. I haven't seen the video in a long time but... 1) At the end of the video isn't the girl signing to him? 2) Since I'm pretty sure she is, does anyone know what she's saying? I learned sign language after the video and I can't seem to catch it again to figure out what she's saying. I assume she's 'breaking up with him' or whatever but I'm just curious... |

I love this song. It makes me cry thought and I'm not sure why. I think it's the "I'll find my way" part. Great song. I'm not a hundred percent sure what it's about but it seems that a girl left him, he lost contact with her and is questioning why and whether she was ever really there. I guess she kinda turned her back on him and what not. The whole share thing, I don't get. "Help me share"? Hmmm... |

This song is basically about a guy dating a girl (or wanting to date her) but the girl's father is on his back. This is best summed up in the lines: "Take it easy old man, I just want to hold her hand." Great song! Excellent band! I highly recommend you download or buy. |

Um... Yeah the first guy WAS right. And it is a romantic song. Basically the feelings he has of 'killing her' aren't an act of pure violence he wants to show her how beautiful she is, how people look upon her, how much she'll be missed. And don't underestimate the beauty of death, it is a beutiful thing. A romance of it's own if you ask me. But anyway that's basically what the song is about according to the man himself. |
