Hmm. Probably would sound OK if my dad hadn't forced me to listen to THREE FREAKIN' HOURS of this in the car on the way home the other day. I'm all Clashed out... |

P.s. Did someone like poke you in the ass with a shovel or something to provoke that random rant up there? Just wondering. You'd think you'd be pleased people were here to rate instead of shouting at them! *Sob* |

Indulgence, being an indulgent song in itself. A cue not to take things too serious but obviously this wouldn't include neccessarily 'giving your soul up to the dark forces'. This is beginning to sound a little like star wars. :O |

As opposed to meaning, this song was written and released as a tribute to the punk rock era, and is all done in good humour and support of it. Dripping with metal and gothdom nonetheless! Another good song. |

Delicately worded and very thematic. Almost a 'get away' from reality song, more-so than the usual Inky Sukk songs. Fantasy yet still gothic in its origins. Wonderful. |

Again a great song, with sections of the wytches chant in towards the end for a good musically texture of build up that fits right in with the neopaganistic gothic rock style that Inky Sukk display so well. |

One of Inky Sukks more open digs at Christianity that we see, referring more to times past than times present, the Crusades, Inquisition and Holy Wars are referred to in the lyrics also to enforce this. |

Good cover of the rolling stones I think it was originally, though I could be wrong, even my dad liked this one despite him being oposed to most things non-his way. They must be doing something right... |

Lyrics wise, after having parental splitage and long term relationship splitage, it's pretty fitting. Things just get to the point where they seem surreal sometimes in life, and you need one thing to cling onto to get you through. |

Ditto to the above. Sort of reminds you that just because you're living doesn't mean that you are the best you an be, especially if all you do is try to drag other people down to you and leech off them. |

This song mean three heavy metal doods swaying around on a pool table spilling snackbite and black and singing along after the bands finished. Battle of the Bands always does leave something to remember if not the music...I don't think the table will ever recover for one... |

Confusion, anger at another person or everybody for their lack of understanding and answers that they are able to provide. A certain note of bitterness and again the eternally present T-T-Vein pessimism. |

It reminds me of the annoyance that occurs when something bad had happened, and people use the old 'well things with get better eventually' line on you. They forget that perhaps sometimes the bad thing that did happen, you just want to reverse, and that if things will get better, what is there in reality to clutch to until it does? The past I guess... |

It seems like a giving up but not quite in the normal sense of defeat. More resigned, like a deserving defeat even though this may be untrue. |

That wish to be able to fly away from the problems and all the things that have gone wrong is voiced here and indeed in the other songs, the feeling of wrong, of dirtiness. |

Like the end verse most, even the lyrics read out in a rhyme that sounds just right to hear. This song shows a building of greater courage perhaps, more assertive than the others also, yet still the same hint of dispair at loss slipped in there. |

Particularly like the 'you won't save/wake me when every day here is the same' refrain used, and the jolt in the vocals at the beginning of the second and third verses, with the crying out of the words. The repeat of the 'chorus' as it were, is very drilling too. |

Still being unable to hurt the one you have been rejected by. Been there too many times. Holding the knowledge that while it is self destructive, it is something that they cannot change, even when the person is gone, 'and everyday I'll fight, not to miss you, every day i'll lose'. |

Again as in the ledge and other songs this strong feeling of dependancy on another person to the point of immense physical pain that is fell both with and without them. I think the graphic descriptions of the pain that couples with the symbolism almost of the lyrics and the haunting vocals yet again make this another great song. |

The chorus is something that anyone who's been in love yet been rejected can empathise with and the feeling of emptiness and lack of self worth that accompany this. Also anger that results from the previous and the latter, and the resignment that everything is seen with no meaning now, 'look at me, I am nothing, but a need to reach you'. |

Not the best song to listen to when down, but always the know that you play regardless of that fact. The end part is striking in its' mournful pessimism and dispair, but the song is touching in its musial simplicity. |

Particularly powerful vocals on this one, with a huge sense of empathy that just rings throughout you during the play of the song. Illustrates the different, bittersweet side of love, resounding notes of unrequited feelings, and a pathetic feel to the lyrics that involves the listener. |

This has be my favourite ever song. Period. I just now redownloaded it after having my albums stolen it and remember just how much I love it. There's not much to add to the above comments other than to add that Maynard is a god, and this song, all 13 minutes 45 second odd of it, is as good as it gets for me, and it's a high realm to aim for. |
