I've actually met Default and they are the coolest guys ever. I even got to have a few drinks with them.
The song was written by Dallas [lead singer] one night after a piss-up - the night before the Demos were suppose to be recorded. He wrote it because him and his girlfriend got in a fight, so he went back and wrote this song. From what I understood from them, Dallas and his girlfriend were kinda rocky, and Dallas thought he was "wasting his time" with her. Needless to say, they got back together and are STILL together. (damn eh girls? He's friggin' hot in person!) Who would have thought a tiff like that would create such wonderful, and talented music? I bet she feels like a dumbass, but is proud of the boys too. This is definitely a great song, the entire CD is great. If anyone has a chance, check out Live a Lie and By your Side.. They're great songs. |
