This song may be viewed in different ways... if you view it on a "lovers" level, I think it's the process of being drawn into love itself... if you look at it as "death", then it's about the process of a peaceful death. Catherine's Wheel are two things... the fireworks or the torture instrument. |

Now that I look at it, it's about a person (a girl) who commited suicide for some reason that is described as "a broken heart disease". She jumped out of the window as showed through the lines "She ran until there's nothin' left
She hit the end-it's just her window ledge ". From the feel of this song, it seems as if the singer was this girl's best friend (I can't say they boyfriend yet) and he was very much distraught at her death... |
