i am so sick of hearing people bashing fall out boy as being a teenie bopper band, driven only to please the ears of 13 year old girls who think pete is the hottest guy in the world.
i fell in love with fall out boy almost 5 years ago when i first heard take this to your grave. everytime i go to one of their concerts, i get mad at the teenie bopper crowd and the people who go that only know this song, dance dance, and now arms race and thanks for the memories.
BUT EVERYTIME i am amazed at how fall out boy pays homage to their roots. they still play 5 or 6 songs from take this to your grave every show, even a song or two from evening out with your girlfriend, and at every show i've been to they close with saturday, which is clearly their favorite song to play. personally, i don't like this song very much, i think its the worst song they have. but who gives a ****. they made it big, and they are living the dream. they get paid to come up with new and exciting beats and strange lyrics. their sound is very different from their initial album. they have grown and evolved into a hit machine. learn to deal with it, as punk/emo gets bigger, more and more sounds ive loved for the past decade or so are making their way to the radio. good for them, punk bands are finally making it big. now i sound like i'm rambling. but i think this needs to be said. they aren't sell outs, they just get paid more.

yeah i have no idea what king nothing2 was talking about... but i really like this song, i think hes saying how hes all alone and just feels like going somewhere, anywhere, nowhere just because he can... its awesome im happy i rediscovered this cd its good stuff |

damn right this is the best TJS song.... one of the best out there overall in my opinion. its so beautiful, if it were a girl id marry it..... but anyway, yeah! great song |

frickin amazing song.... that last verse is just amazing and so true in my life. i just wish they added a little more, i mean a little over a minute and they are pretty much done with the entire song, they just play some in between music and sing it twice more. but even so... great song |

i dont know exactly why this song was written, i dont know whether it was about an accident or whatever
but i feel that its about how a guy feels so much for his girl and cant really come up with the words to tell her. so his gripping his knuckles tight. also he loves spending time with her so much, that he never wants to say goodbye. kinda like my situation now... probably is the reason why i have not been able to stop listening to this song for about 2 weeks now... |
