Oh, btw, when someone writes "G-d" instead of God, it is considered more respectful- especially in Judaism, where they don't underestimate the power of language to create. By writing down the word in its entirety, you've created that word, and it will be destroyed eventually. Also, some people interpret the commandment to not use God's name in vain as also not using it in any other way aside from praying in a holy place. |

Ok I admit, I don't have the patience to read all the entries, but I did want to respond to one point made. My apologies if this was already brought up.

haha. sometimes you don't need to break everything down into a religious matter. sometimes, it really is just kink for kink's sake.
Haven't you heard the word, "poison" used casually as a vice, like a drug? When he says poison, he's referring to his kinky sex almost as a drug.
Some people die of cocaine or heroin overdose. What he's saying is that if he had to choose which vice would kill him from the intensity of it, it would be sex.
He doesn't necessarily die...he's just saying that if he had a choice, it would be this. |

In the Dark Ages, a pink moon was considered omnious and somewhat apocolyptic. I think it's hilarious that they were playing this in the VW commercial with all the kids in the car-- "Pink moon gonna get you all"= drive VW, then die. Nick Drake songs sound so mellow and peaceful, so the advertising agency didn't bother looking more into the lyrics--to see if it was actually a positive song (which it isn't). |
