i think this song is a very good showcase of bob's use of diction, consonance, and alliteration. he has such a gift for that. this song is very emotional, almost desperate in the attempt to keep a partner when you know the relationship is over/doomed, or realising that a crush will never become a relationship. http://www.angelfire.com/indie/braid |
