I can kinda relate to this song. My boyfriend moved to cali to go to film school...it sucks. the distance sucks...but we are determined to stay together...I put this song on for him and we both just sat there and cried. |

wow...I have heard this song before but i never really realized what it was...I jsut heard it on the car ride home today and I was taken away by this song. It is so beautiful...it reminds me of my boyfriend and I(corny i know but whatever) it is simply amazing...i'm not really a big pumpkins fan but this is such a great song...it makes me cry. |

If i'm not mistaken, Loretta Young was a famous actress in the early 1930s. It sounds like he is comparing someone to Loretta Young in the sense that the girl is acting most of the time, she is fake and she puts on a show for everyone, never really showing who she really is however everyone seems to see through her. Everyone knows how truly fake she is so she isn't really fooling anyone at all but instead making herself look stupid. |

I heard it was written for their ex-guitarist BoneHead's mom...she died from cancer i do belive and I remember hearing somewhere that this song was for her...if you look at the liner notes they do dedicate this album to here...I may be wrong so who knows |

I am in love with this song...to this day I will call this the BEST Oasis song to ever exist..its so beautiful...everything just flows so perfectly...its amazing...oh man...it makes me cry simply becauser it's that good. Noel is one of those writers...he writes these lyrics and I listen to them and I can't belive that any human being wrote them...don't ask why..the lyrics are just so amazing and he has this way of sucking you into these lyrics...its just amazing. |

Ok ok everyone calm down....the song isnt that bad and his stuff hasnt changed that much..this is clearly a joke song.....if u need your faith in Dashboard Restored, go to the site and listen to The Ghost of a Good Thing...its really really good..at least I think so..and it sounds pretty much like the old dashboard...at least thats what I think. |
