| i dunno why, but for some reason the lines "cause everybody knows the more we nurture our perversions, the more human we become" and "they finally caught the killer, they found his skin beneath her nails" makes me think of a rape victim who was either murdered, or killed herself right after the rape, because the pain was too much to bare or whatever..and they hadn't found the killer yet, and the song is through the perspective of a friend/lover of the victim..who has lost faith because of the terrible event, and the line "we swore a solemn oath to never disobey, then he took our wives and kids away" is like, they swore not to disobey god, and placed their faith in them..and then he took what meant the most away from them..yeah but i could be wrong..and, for some reason i think when it says "sing children, sing it to the sun," i think it would also have it fit as "sing it to the son," as in jesus..but then again that's my weird view of the song, just thought i'd share it.. | |

mmkey..well, haha i think the song MEANS (thus songMEANINGS.net) that music killed her..because.. As he came into the window Was a sound of a crescendo He came into her apartment He left the bloodstains on the carpet She was sitting at the table He could see she was unable So she ran into the bedroom She was struck down It was her doom ^ maybe she was listening to some shitty music or something..and it was so shitty that it in fact, killed her. or, instead of the shitty music killing her, i'm pretty sure crescendo means like peak of intensity in music or a loud noise or whatever..so maybe the music got so intense that it killed her..or hurt her, whichever..either way, she was listening to some music, and the guy came in and he was all like "WHOA! annie, are you okay?" and he proceeded to repeat that line over and over..as if the more he asked, the more likely it was that she would all of a sudden answer with a, "yes dear, i'm fine!" but when he got there, she did not answer..for she had been harmed--BY THE INTENSITY OF HER MUSIC! maybe michael jackson trying to tell everyone "hey, my music is intense and so is what's left of my natural face! BUY MY CD!" then i began to ramble..but, i think it should make some sense..if not, oh the fuck well..i tried! |
