This song is defiently about something but i think the part "dont just stand there suffering talking about your freedom" is about how people who actually havnt found God will try to get to you belive in God when they dont even know what they are saying.
Im thinking the last part is probably about how maybe some of the bad things in life is all he has so if you take them away he wont have anything.
Yeah thats just an idea but i really dont have much of an idea |

No way, this song is much deeper than that. I believe that he is talking about how he feels like he is the only one in the whole world who is seeing everything clearly while everyone else is all confused and involved in pointless things. And he is also talking about giving into them and living an empty life with everyone else. So i guess you could take it as a straight edge song but i really think its way beyond that. |

Yeah ASL defiently rocks way hard. I saw them with finch and they were amazing and im going to see them again soon, i just dont remember when. I really think this song is about two people who are in love but for some reason are far apart from each other. Like when both people go to college way far away from each other and they start off trying to keep the realationship but all the really have to stay in touch is the phone "you havnt called, but i'll wait for you." But Nate is like starting to belive that maybe shes changed "youre pictures still remains but i wonder are yous till the same." Like things probably are starting to feel alot different between them and he thinks that he is losing her and that she will probably go off with someone else eventually even though he is still so very much inlove with her. And the part about her looking into the mirror is Nate knowing that its really hard on her too and that she has to try to keep strong. Oh yeah, i think the storm just represents the really lonely feeling you get when you are away from someone that you love really badly and you kind of worry about them. But it doesnt really seem like its comming from inside you, it seems like its a storm passing over you and just when you think you are starting to get over it, it will come completely back, "the storm is letting up but it wont die." And the part about "if you werent wrong was i?" is probably just him kind of admitting that its not as easy as he thought it would be. Well thats what the song means to me but only Nate could tell you for sure. |
