If the evidence is so blatently obvious then why is Kurt's death still seen as suicide? We'll probably never know the truth, but looking at Kurt's background of depression, drug abuse and destructive behaviour it seems that his death was most likely self inflicted. Kurt Cobain's death has immortalised him as some sort of rock god. I choose to remember him by the things he did during his life, not by the manner of his death. This might stir some shit, but I think Kurt's death has made his music even more popular and he has passed into legend. He lived the ultimate rock and roll lifestyle and now he's gone. Accept it, move on and keep loving what Kurt gave us. |

When I first heard this song I thought Kurt said "Die" instead of "Dive" and that seemed to make a lot more sense. Incesticide was a kinda odds-and-ends album. I personally think that Nirvana was trying to regain their "just another punk band" status. Incesticide has a fair few punk songs (molly's lips, son of a gun, etc) on it. |

I reckon that the "sun shines in the bedroom when we play" line refers to sex and how happy the guy is when he's with his girl and they're having a good time;) And when his girl leaves he feels down and misses her. I love it how the "up, up, up and down" part of the song sounds like a whole lotta nonsense or like a kids rhyme or something. It's rad. |

I think this song is about a guy who is or has been a drug addict and he has a girlfriend that wants him to "stay clean" and keep off the drugs. Maybe the girl doesn't trust the guy; "she'd take me anywhere, as long as she stays with me". As to the last part of the song, I have no idea. Maybe the guy likes kissing his girl. |
