the last guy got what this song was written about right on i think but to me i turn it around and apply it to my own life. im going to move to LA for a number of reasons and i cant really stand the place where i live now. i like this part especially for this reason: cause living here i've got so down i guess that's why i've got to leave town to find some place i haven't found cause i know that you'll be there waiting cool i interpreted the song the way i wanted and not the way its supposed to be so hate me if you want to. |

| i can't believe no one has commented on this song yet. one of my favorite mcr songs. i have a few friends who are internet/web design guys who sit in cubes at big companies and theyre all about bringing home the paycheck and getting their little piece of "the american dream" just like everyone else. this song is all about being different, about not doing that with your life. the "i think id love to die alone" is a reference to just being different and doing what you want to do with your life instead of working for the man and being a carbon copy of everyone else in society. if fitting in means sitting in a cube, i for one want to "live and breathe and die alone" ... | |

| im so happy that there are intelligent people on this site who have intelligent things to say and dont just bash the bands. this song is amazing, one of my favorites of all time. a lot of chris simpson's writing has Biblical allusions in it and he's a brilliant song writer and a nice guy if you ever meet him. this song puts into words exactly the way i feel more eloquently then i know how to. | |
