I think it has to do with the treatment of animals. We pride our existence over other living creature's. A person born without a leg is cared for diligently by medical professionals, while a lame horse is slaughtered as it is seen as useless. When in fact, we are all living creatures on the same planet, breathing, in most cases, the same air. |
