This song makes me thing of my last year of high school and evertying else that goes with it. high school isnt your whole life, but its a big part that determines who you are, and should be embraced. this song also kinda makes me cry, thinking of all the crap me and the people i love have been through in high school. |

a coupple of things. thankyou to the people who agree with me and, TurnDowntheSun, you also have sme valid points about how mtv sucks and they trash their good tv shows. BUT, it wasnt b/c of mtv that i starting listing afi, it was cus a local INDEPENDENT radio station, that played GOOD music, like afi, that i first heard them. it wasnt a clear chanel radio station or another big company but a local place (the irony is they sold them selfs for ike 20 mill to a mexican station. i was pissed) fuck mtv. but anyway, i would hav gone to their web site but i knew nothing about afi, not even that it stood for a fire inside, cus when they would say the bands name after a song, they would say "afi" not a fire inside. SO i really had no way to hear them. no car, no money, no place to start looking, what was i suposed to do. and im kicking my self for not trying to get a little 411 on them sooner |

i'd just like to comment on the asses that complain that if a band makes it big they should be shot or something. im sure they dont mind they have money now and can live comfortably. and if they didnt make it on the radio or something i would most likely never here of them cus i dont have access to concerts or underground shows or whatever. i get most all my music from the radio if just because a band makes it big dose not mean that the origional followers should call them sell-outs or whatever. being on the radio is spreading their music to more and more people, and anyone with a band will tell you that they want as many ppl as possible to hear them, its not a select group of people who get to enjoy their music. why do you think bands do free concerts????? to create a fan base and pick up a record deal |

Sell-out or not, im glad i first heard this song and AFI on KROQ. i had seen stickers or other stuff with their name on it but never bothered (cus i wasnt able to) find or listen to any of their music. because i heard it on the radio, i love AFI now. I will agree with everyone and say that MTV sucks and i hate the fact that ppl call us the "mtv generation" and most, but not all radio stations are sell-outs, but im dissipointed in Cool 94.3 (if anybody from So Cali reads this they will know what i mean) anyway, dont over-analyze too much and just enjoy the music. |
