A song about the end of the world. Destruction. It's amazing people only think of this as a party song but its about the end of the world. |

It's about conformity and how if "normal" means to be something you are not, there's no point to being normal. |

some of the lyrics are from a Charles Manson song "Mechanical Man" from his album LIE. As for the song, you notice that a kid is singing it, then Manson, then at one point they are both singing at the same time so I think its about how Manson wants to be a kid again and how people sometimes look dead. |

From what I know this song was about Susan's ex boyfriend. He did a lot of cocaine and this song is about that. "Flying high on bleached white sand" I think its pretty obvious. |

| Marilyn Manson – Red In My Head Lyrics
|
|
The song is a rendition of a Cat in The Hat book, but done dirty. Its about a girl or a prostitute and an overpowering guy taking her over. The yanking of knuckles and bending her in half is the sexual urges taking over and the red in my head part is probably because all the force he is putting on her is making her bleed..."I called her red". |

| Marilyn Manson – Misery Machine Lyrics

Many levels to this song. First the title..it is a play of Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine where the gang rode in. The Abbey of Thelema was Aleister Crowley's legendary academy of the magickal arts, where people partipated in drug orgies and debauchery. This song is another song about Social Darwinism (as is alot of Manson's songs) about how the weak get crushed by the strong. The "strong" in this song is the car and he is crushing the slow or "weak" It's about standing up for yourself and not letting any weakminded people get in your way. "Do what thou will shall be the whole of the law..." |

| Marilyn Manson – Negative 3 Lyrics

This is a song from the early days. Very good lyrics. It talks about an unhealthy relationship. I think it's him telling about how he wants the girl just to leave him alone. He is treating her bad.. its talks about violence..scars...broken mirrors, blood. And he is controlling. He says its one part you and 3 parts me. very selfish. She is only 25& of the relationship and he is 75%. Not very equal. Wheras a healthy relationship is usually 50/50. |

|
Pretty simple song to interpret. A girl and a boy have feeling for each other but they think the other one doesn't like them. She wonders what his intentions are or if he even has any and he thinks she's a golddigger. But in essence they do like each other it is just they don't know it. |

Going to a cemetry and reading the gravestones, wondering how they lived their lifes. Morrissey also mentions some of his fave authors including Keats and Yeats, and of course Oscar Wilde. Also mentions being original and not to plagiarise and use your own words when writing. |

The first verse talks about problems which keep occuring and how when you are a child you are shielded from those problems and guarded. The second verse talks about events and people changing for no reason and how time passes on and its hard to deal with all of this. the rest talks abotu time passing by and how you wish it were easier to deal with things and you wish you had santuary to get away from it all. A personal fave. |
