I refuse to believe that this song is about rape or sexual abuse. I personally love this song, because I can relate to it, often. I think what she's trying to convey is that she made a mistake (possibly in a relationship?) and she got hurt emotionally in the process. Then, she's miserable, and just wishes her 'superhero' would come and take her away from all her problems. One of my favorite 'sad' songs. :) |
