the first line of the lyric is wrong, instead of:
You can be with the one you love or love the one you're with
It should be:
If you can't be with the one you love, then love the one you're with |

I dunno why, but this song just strikes a chord in me. For some reason whenever I feel really low or blue I just put it on and I get lost in it. I think it has something to do with how it builds up and just explodes at the end, almost spiritual. |

These guys are from around where I live and I've seen them a few times. With this song they do the middle finger thing like Sunksses says whenever they play it. Good song and gesture to go along with if you're ever pissed at someone who keeps getting you down, makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside just sayin "I may screw up, but fuck off and let me live my life" |

They played with Rage Against the Machine a couple years ago, and a little known triva fact is that Rage liked Alec Empire(head of ATR) so much that they named their cd Evil Empire off of him. Yes, it also has to do with Rages political ideas, but at the same time refers to Alec being Evil. Learn something new every day. |

ATR is either you hate them or love them. I am one that loves them, basically because I like their radical ideas and how they put it into such a hard-hitting-straight-to-your-mind-without-bullshit type of music. Over the last couple months I've been on a big anti-western culture kick as well, mostly following groups such as Adbusters (http://www.adbusters.org). This song is like an anthem for that, destroying the 2000 years of culture that has perverted and degraded our right to live as human beings. Live life, not excess and spectacle. |

Why has no one commented on this yet? This is by far one of the best songs I've ever heard. "And your roommate opens the door And says, "Why are you back here again?" is great. One of my best friends lives in Germany and sometimes when we talk we just dream together about living in a world without our popular culture, maybe something like Overlee. Just us two and nothing else to come between us, not even our differences in language. |

My brother told me about these guys right about the time the relationship I was in fell apart for the final time. The line "look me in the eyes and tell me you'll throw this all away" is what really gets me, since I said something very similiart to her about a week before I heard this song. I guess you could say that this song sums up the ending of our relationships pretty well and how I felt about it. Even though in retrospect I guess its kind of harsh and doesn't really speak to me as it did a few weeks ago. |

I don't know how many people have seen the video for this song, but it's great. It's set in a mental institution and all the patients start doing their own kind of thing to the song. The best part is when one of the guys is looking into a painting of a harbour in a little town and starts to see people waving at him. For me it brings back the memory of a poster painting of a town on the Almafi Coast in Italia that I used to have hanging over my bed when I lived in Rome. Good memories. |

think that kind of sums things up pretty well, maybe I should listen to more songs like this and give things time and actually think about my actions instead of just going off on every little emotion that I have. |
