Therapy? – Our White Noise Lyrics 2 years ago
i feel like this song is about a father who's daughter has been killed and he sees everyday, casual things that are actually being used by his dead daughter to communicate to him.
however, he has not noticed until now (the song's present tense) and he hates himself for it.

Therapy? – Deep Sleep Lyrics 2 years ago
definitely agree with infotainment_lad here.
although the band has confirmed in their auto-biography that it has something to do about getting high on cocaine(?) if i remember correctly, i do prefer infotainment_lad's reasoning and it fits perfectly.
well done "lad" 😉

Therapy? – Exiles Lyrics 2 years ago
i feel this song is about how the human race thinks they are more important than they are and/or deserve to be.
the use of "Star" or mainly "Dying star" also gives the feeling that humans think they have a power of (rather stereotypical assumption) a star. but more or less, the truth is that humanity is killing everything, so it makes the star a dying one.
throughout the second verse, it shows how some people want the most of humanity to settle down and stop being such elitists and self-centered.

Therapy? – Bad Mother Lyrics 2 years ago
while i do agree with infotainment_lad to some degree, i also have the feeling that this song is about someone who is losing themselves and/or not being themselves anymore - about someone who (as Youthdrainer put it) detached from the world or who no longer is the same person in terms of interests or general personality; symbolizing depression.
more or less, someone who just wants to feel young, innocent and happy again, which i feel like that is the reason for this song's dreamy, nostalgic yet cold atmosphere.
turning to the lyrics, " You only mean it, 'cause you look like Jesus" could show that maybe this depressed character has a "Bad Mother" and the only reason why they respect their mother is due to how she reminds the character of their youth. and let's put it in the context of the main character originally being a Christian, but of course they've been detached from everything, so his mother reminds them of Jesus, hence the memories.
and the first verse really supports my point of the worn-out drain of the character. have a look for yourself.
not only that, but the small reference to fields [summer, nostalgia, youth] serves some purpose.

also, greatest Therapy? song of all time !

KoЯn – Ball Tongue Lyrics 2 years ago
although i do know what this song means (i have read the KoRn - Every Album, Every Song book) i still have a very messed up interpretation.
i have a great feel that this song is about someone who's friend became a transgender man/woman (you know what i mean) and while that isn't like on the same level as maybe Good God or Faget in terms of angst and sad stuff, the transgender person starts becoming obsessed and starts shoving useless cultural and related things into this character's face (metaphorically), such as forcing them to be overly-supportive of their change and may even attempt to make this character do similar things to their body.
the main character is very distraught as they should be supportive of their friend's decision, yet are also very angry and relentless as their friend has been manipulating them into loads of uncomfortable situations.
and with this moral war - the character starts to hate themself, which ultimately leads to the main KoRn sound/song moral.

KoЯn – Break Some Off Lyrics 2 years ago
i have a feeling this is one of KoRn's more love-related songs in a way:
i feel it's about someone who is so in love with someone (whether they've just had a break-up with said someone, or have secret feelings) to the point where all they can think about is this person: the way they act, appear, dress, think and dream to the point where they realise the hell they've put themselves into and they start to hate this other person and try to "Break Some Off" but don't quite know how to.
"You think everything will be fine" this character is starting to have the great fear that this other person does not have the same feelings in return for them, and is starting to infer the situation as that the other person has a complete apathy to this character's current state (either on purpose or out of no knowledge) "I'm about to Break Some fucking Off! Going to lose my mind!/I feel i'm feeling fine!/No it won't be fine!" displays three emotions: "I'm going to lose my mind!" means that they realise that it's going to send them on a downward spiral of mixed emotions "I feel i'm feeling fine!" they do have some hope in that they will have support from others "No it won't be fine!" their intrusive thoughts tell them to neglect all positive thoughts.

Infected Mushroom – Converting Vegetarians Lyrics 2 years ago
i have two interpretations of this song:
the first one is the main one that is well discussed from fans; converting non-psytrance fans (vegetarians) into Infected's music and bands alike.
the second one is that the song is about manipulation; someone is well-renowned as being a very clever, slick person who is manipulative and very patronising/self centred.
however, they have recently become insane (get it?) and becomes too human - kind, understanding and self-aware. yet they are determined to just be a psycho (also get it?) "This is the time of the revolution" means that this character is ready to 'take over' and become this sort of boastful, spiteful person "Never again will i sell out" means that they will never become soft again and is determined to become a horrible, shitebag of a person they aspire to be.

Stuck In the Sound – Delicious Dog Lyrics 2 years ago
i think this song is about childhood trauma/neglect.
this mainly shines through on the bridge and second verse.
in more detail, i think the song is a metaphor for someone being born into an abusive family and thrown immediately into stress and overwhelming situations as a baby "The dog has eaten my umbilical cord" and when they're older and try to get some love "You've got a prodigal son, don't you think so mum?" yet it is never given to this character.
later in life they try to find love yet it is never given to 'him' "Will you be my bride, well no, oh no!"
and his deranged youth has messed him up so much.
