This song is essentially a giant FU to anyone who did you or anyone else wrong in your life. She said so at a show I was at in Beverly MA. I didn't misunderstand her explanation since she held up her FU gesture in her explanation of what this song is about. |

Ian explained the uproar over the Aqualung Album during the taping of the Live Album at XM studios. He said it is a Pro God Album written with a somewhat schoolboy cynicism over organized religion in general and Christianity in particular. This song explains the hypocrisy of people who get all dressed for Sunday Mass but live a life that is the opposite of what they claim to believe. He is saying that God is around all the time and isn't a God that is only wound up on Sunday. |
