| Hole – Mrs. Jones Lyrics | 9 months ago |

I think I might know "who" Mrs. Jones is. OK, let's look at everything she says when she's acknowledging Mrs. Jones: "The sky's a narcotic with blackjack bones, Mrs. Jones aww Mrs. Jones aww Cry me a river but just take me home Oh, Mrs. Jones aww Mrs. Jones My virus is raging, It's breaking my bones oh Mrs. Jones please Mrs. Jones Your cute little doggy won't leave me alone, Mrs. Jones please Mrs. Jones" "Mrs. Jones" is not the nurse, not the abortionist, not the fetus, not the spectator or narrator. I believe the abortion procedure was an operation without any anesthesia or pain-killer medication. "Jones-ing" often refers to an intense craving for drugs to alleviate the pain of withdrawal sickness, or in this case, to lessen the misery of a surgical operation without anesthetic relief and being able to feel every little detail and the gruesome torture that seems like an eternity in Hell, and the pain is causing the girl to kind of go out of her mind, and "Mrs. Jones" is all over her (the personification of the intense pain) making the situation even more hopeless and miserable. So the female patient is very desperately begging, pleading, and praying for Mrs. Jones to leave her alone and have mercy and pity upon her. But Mrs. Jones is there to enjoy practicing the cruel sadistic torture upon the patient. And the patient can't even get her own mind and body to "shut down" and faint so that her trauma wouldn't be as unbearable and vivid in memory. Mrs Jones is the pain experienced by the patient that has been personified into maybe an "imaginary enemy", or maybe even worse, a demonic entity, specifically assigned to make the patient's life as miserable as possible. She's even brought along a little puppy, which would usually make some patients feel better. But no, this little puppy was never intended to comfort, but instead to cause severe frustration, confusion and misery added. |

| Sade – Killer Blow Lyrics | 4 years ago |
| When I first heard of this song I thought it was possibly about some damn good top quality cocaine, but in the music video cut, it features scenes of guys smoking what appears to be cannabis, as marijuana is sometimes referred to as "blow" in the UK. But after reading the actual lyrics, it doesn't seem to be about drugs at all, that was just visual imagery puns, metaphors or double entendres. | |

| @[scarlit:37202] you telling me.... I was 12 when I wrote these lyrics on a sheet of notebook paper and my mom found it. Her reaction was very intense! | |

| @[randomguy1969:37176] Thank you, yes I was thinking about the same thing on the "Zion please remove your glove" verse about the unholy alliance between Israel and the US, I'm glad that I've found someone else that interpreted it that way | |

| @[sheph:37047] this song refers to evangelical terrorists and their bold hypocrisy. "Denial" isn't just a river in Egypt, no matter how much you may wish it were. If you're snowflaking out butthurt and offended by the truth, you should have a lot of fun trolling the Tori Amos or Diamanda Galas section. You probably already have. | |

| Also, I forgot to mention that when listening to this song, musically and lyrically, I keep expecting her to say "in the USA" whenever she says "in the ID parade". Very clever songwriting! | |

I believe this song is about the very strong attachment Americans at large have with guns, the fire-arms fetish that runs so deeply in American culture. This song was written when we only had mass shootings every couple of years or so, now we are having mass shootings almost every other day |

| The 2 characters are: Crazy little Charlie (Charles Manson) and Crazy little Suzie (Susan Atkins), who certainly had one HELL of a love affair.... well kind of, not exactly "love", but it was a very toxic, manipulative and destructive attachment, with Charlie driving at the wheel and Suzie in the passenger seat. | |
| Hole – Drown Soda Lyrics | 6 years ago |

This is just MY own interpretation, I could be wrong, but I think I have an interesting perception. I think that this song is about addiction, regardless of any specific drug, whether it be heroin or cocaine. But the lyrics remind me strongly of a cocaine grip. "He wants to take you away from your life.... ooh god just let him rape you, then I'll think you understand..." with "He" as the drug itself, when you give into it, and you crave it painfully when without it, "just you wait 'til everyone is hooked." "Are you going to sit and watch me, watch me while I go down?" "Are you going to sit and watch me, watch me while I drown?" I always pictured fellow users of the drug are rotating for their share, while one goes down to the mirror with the straw up their nose, everyone watching to see if this person takes more than their fair share and eagerly awaiting their own turn... to "drown" (inhaling dope nasally), "soda"= Coke ?. |
