I think it's about parent and child relationship, potential, fruition, death. And at the same time how the ghosts of our parents talk to us. We are reflections of them. We strive for approval, and all those we seek acceptance and approval from make us nervous, like ghosts whispering to us in our dark defeats, as well as in our illuminating triumphs because their opinion of us matters to us, even after they are gone.
