this is by far my favorite leprous song. to me, it's about a relationship and the buildup to its end/the feelings surround it. "We didn't stop to recognize The thundering fog" there were problems building in the relationship that neither person paid attention to. "Forgive my tears When they turn to salt" as the main character starts to recognize the problem, his crying changes from out of joy to out of sadness (because salty tears means sad). "After facing your fears It's time to revolt" the other person in the relationship finally decides to end it after being reluctant out of fear. the rest, "Symptoms of vanity...The things you are trying to hide" could be about the problems that caused the relationship to end. |
