Who knows? Tobi’s lyrics are bizarre and nearly incomprehensible on every song he’s ever written. English is definitely his second language. Although it sounds like it might be his third language. Normally I would say get someone else to clean up your lyrics, but he’s been at it for so long it’s probably too late anyway. My best guess is that this song is about someone trying to find his way, trying to comprehend the nature of life and the universe. |

It’s amazing how few actual lyrics there are in this song. It’s really just a couple lines about sexuality and being a free spirit, then “don’t tell me you love me” over and over and over. Great song, but when you see it written out it’s impossible to ascribe any deep meaning to it. |

One of two truly great songs on Headless Children, the other being the mighty Thunderhead. Blackie said this is about Ronald Reagan, but the lyrics sound like they are also generally about a pyromaniac. It sounds like he started with that theme and then injected Reagan into it because Headless Children was meant to delve into topics of the day. |
