| Shamans Harvest – Then There Was Darkness Lyrics | 7 years ago |
| This talks about how a relationship can go to pieces and how when a girl leaves you, you feel it and cannot let go. You cannot accept that they just left and so you sit around "waiting for the sun" waiting for the girl to come back but when you go to sleep and are true to yourself about what happened, you know that they're not coming back and so it "blocks out the sun", your hope and happiness for them coming back and you waking up like its a bad dream or very terrible nightmare, disappear, so you have nothing left but despair, which is too much to bear, so you take it out on the world around you with fury and anger you have "got enough hell for everyone" | |

| Silver End – The Gate Lyrics | 7 years ago |

This song is to do with the futility of guilt and doing wrong. When you have sinned or done someone wrong you feel terrible and feel like you belong in hell. However the people that condemn you are just as guilty if not are even more so, and they judge how you've acted, it doesn't make what you did wrong or right it makes you realise that nobody is perfect and deserving of punishment and judgement as we are all human beings that have done wrong. This is shown in I've lost my mind Anger takes over Darkness fills the broken heart The simplest logic is breaking apart This verse talks about the amount of pain and guilt you feel for your action and this happens because people are assholes who judge you You won't drag me to the Underworld just yet Though it's where I'm from This talks about how you cannot judge me for my actions as if theyre completely abhorrent but there is an understanding of which is that there is a wrong which has happened so you accept "thats where im from" |

| State of Mine – Rise Lyrics | 7 years ago |

This song symbolizes to me the pure unbridled spirit of a person. Looking to rise amongst the stars and claim what the universe has bestowed upon them. The song emphasises the ability of everyone and wants them to rise to their true potential and show all the doubters that you can surpass all of them. "I won't just survive oh. You will see me thrive can't write my story I'm beyond the archetype" These lines show that the person wont just go against the grain and will continue to thrive and go to their true capabilities. Their beyond the stereotype or typecast people have told them and transform and evolve to a higher level Victory is in your veins You know it and you will not negotiate Just fight it And be transformed 'cause when the fire's at my feet again and the vultures all start circling they're whispering You're out of time but still I rise These lines emphasize that you must stay awake and true to yourself amongst the chaos or conformity of the world around you which expect you to stay in your lane and your role. The song wants you to recognize that there's so much more to you than that victory is in your veins and even though the proverbial vultures as in the people that put you down will try and keep you down. You have to rise against and transform, conquer, evolve........ RISE! |
