It's definitely not about a woman or sex. It's about something feeling good. in, under the skin. filtering through his mind. thats the desire portion of something, likely a drug. when he gets it, hes anxious, shaking like a leaf. theres a small reference to meth in glass. rooms spinning, losing balance.. addiction withdrawal.. or how nothing matters until you get it. sort of like how in movies they'll blur things up until the point in time where they want to show you whats happening. cupola has a lot of meanings. in this sense it could mean the shape of a dome, like a pipe. after that its all "hit me, hit my nerves" pretty obvious there. dawn of a new day... will he quit? then after, is this all you have to say? not sure on this one.. but you do hear junkies talk about quitting all the time but never do. then right after, its hit me, hit my nerves again. |
