You breathe it in through a straw and the taste of poison comes from the drain down the back of your throat and you try to get away but it draws you back in, just like addiction!!!! If you have never struggled with addiction, you will never see it this way but if you have you will never hear the song the same again and now I don't think I like the song as much as i used to but just recently am trying to get clean and i heard it for the first time in this state today and it changed forever for me. Just saying. |

@[iamunconscious:21248] I believe its about addiction to meth!!! I totally agree. But anyone who has never struggled with it will never see it that way, however I have struggled with it and it fits to the tee. Tasting the poison down your throat and breathing it in through a straw!!! They are just naive, not their fault. |

@[SweetLittleFlames:21247] I do too. I just posted that. I am trying to quit snorting meth and the familiar taste of poison is exactly what I think when it drains down the back of your throat and I never want it until after drinking alcohol so perfect that the wine comes first but I never heard it this way until I quit using a few days ago and now it can't be more blatant to me. I agree with you and glad someone else does with me. :)

I think it is about someone trying to quit snorting meth. As someone who is trying to quit myself, it hit home with me and couldn't be more perfect in the description of it all and drink leads me to it so perfect how the wine comes first. Just my opinion but I will probably never hear it the same as I did before I started to quit using. |
