Ryan Star – Losing Your Memory Lyrics 9 years ago
I believe this song is from the perspective of two different people going through different issues but feel completely lost.Or from two different people who are connected and one is missing the other.

The first half of the song is about a guy who trying to end his life Probably by overdosing on pills. The reason is from what I've heard people who try to end their life this way they go through stages, Preparation, denial and acceptance.

"Call all your friends
And tell them you're never coming back" He wants to tie up any loose ends.

"Pretend that you want it
Don't react" this part shows how he's trying to convince himself that he's doing the right thing.

"The damage is done
The police are coming too slow now"
This is when he realizes he's truly dying and he's accepting it.

"I would have died
I would have loved you all my life" He's reflecting, his life is flashing before his eyes.

"You're losing your memory now
You're losing your memory now
You're losing your memory now
You're losing your memory, now"

One by one he's watching each memory pass through his mind.

The second half

I simply believe this is of a girl reflecting on someone she misses, and she feels like she lost herself by missing him He probably died, possibly he is the same guy in the beginning. Eventually, she tries to end her life or numb herself. She's going through the same stages, but instead she isn't ready to accept it and is trying to snap out of it. Its up to the listener to decide if she survived or not.
