The outro to this song is so intense. It makes my heart feel like it's about to explode. Especially when he sings "You can be proud of me." Wow. I agree that it's about either his mother or his brother. |

I think that this song was written about driving to meet his brother's fiance and reminiscing about times they shared when they were younger. It seems that he really looks up to his brother, and maybe that is who he is singing about in "gjs," too. |
