This is probably the hardest chevelle song ever. I love it. I think it's about a narcissist after a girl who really isn't into him. The girl actually deflates his ego and he gives in starts to beg for her. The power women have. Mmmmm mm mmmm |

It's dealing with homosexuality and how gay people sometimes think they're better than straight people because straight people don't broaden up their horizons as a gay person does sexually. Took me two times to read over these lyrics and I think I got what the band is trying to interpret. I think this song is taking jabs at homosexuality. "Straight" jacket fashion. We last because we're "colorful". I think he's trying to say being straight is such the norm and how gay people be gay to just not fit into the mainstream and strive to be unique. How gay people are cocky and prideful of their sexualization. |
