The song is about a hand having a one night stand, and why it is wrong. First, there is lust and desire that feels so strong and real that he thinks he has "good reasons" to do it. He says, "I'm craving your body. Is this real? Temperature's rising, I don't want to feel". He knows he shouldn't do it saying, "I'm in the wrong place to be real." But he can't help it saying, "I'm longing to love you Just for a night...". These feelings are the "reasons" to do it even though it's wrong. After a night of passion, he wakes up and realizes that the "reasons" are gone! He says, "All our illusions were just a parade. And all the reasons start to fade". The song ends with the man remembering that he thought he had good reasons at the time saying repeatedly, "I can't find the reasons..." |
