I think it is about person who feels really insecure in the relationship - maybe because of the other persons behavior (When I wake up alone). When they are together (mostly at night) it is all great but in the morning when they are torn apart and thinking and doubts start to crawl. To the point creations of hip mind he sees as real visions. Because of that this person won't admit it is love, simply not to get burnt. |

This is truly heartbreaking song. It is definitely about moving on, yet to me it is more about convincing yourself that you have to move - "I guess I never thought you were good for me anyway". At first she seems quite casual and confident - he can't reach her anymore, yet with every line she seems more and more broken. When she says "I've got plenty of time..." it kind of seems like she knows she's moved on with her body, yet her heart and mind will need much more time. It also seems that her ride and smoking a joint doesn't seem like causal thing to relax, but a way to escaping her thoughts and giving herself a moment to forget. The most heartbreaking is the last verse thou. When she says she's got nothing to loose but "him" it kind of sounds like it is only him, but it is all she really wants. I remember this song from Buffy, the vampire slayer. It perfectly describes her relationship with Angel...well not only that. |

| Truly hearbreaking song. To me, it is about two people who share crazy chemistry - almost movie chemistry. They are so good together, but at the same time so bad. They can't live together but can't live without eachother so they dance around their relationship and hurt eachother but can't help it and can't move on. Something I can very much relate to at the moment. | |

how much I am loving lyrics by Alex, they just seem to coming round at the most perfect time! To me this song is about two people who has finished their reladionship long time ago, yet for some reason from time to time they keep coming back to their lives/minds. As I said, his lyrics just appear in my life at the right time. I have just recently meet up with my past-love after a really really long time of not seeing eachother, and not thinking about the past, and now so many thoughts and emotions just keep coming back, alonside the questions and unresolved matters. |

this is an amazing song. pretty self-explanatory really. they can't be together, yet there is special bound between them that keeps them together. sums up Stevie and Nicks relationship in my opinion. nightmare to be together, yet their harmonies are perfect. this is why this song may be THE Fleetwood Mac's song for me. Had pretty much the same with my ex-boyfriend. No matter how hard we tried, it never worked out, we moved on with out lifes, and yet there is still this special connection between us, after all this years. |
