| Twenty One Pilots – Stressed Out Lyrics | 10 years ago |
| My thoughts are just that Tyler is addressing how when we were young things were easier and we did not have the surprisingly huge amount of adult worries we do. His stress could be seen when he opens with insecurities about the music he is making. Then he addresses how when he is hit with nostalgia he is just reminded that between 'student loans' and 'tee houses' we would want the childhood life. The rocket ship part is just showing how we are constantly reminded that we have to be self sufficient above all else. And I think he uses the deep voice (I think it is supposed to be blurry face?) to help the lyrics really sink in | |

So the song name itself Polarize usually can also be thought of as a polar opposite or something along that nature. He wants help polarizing to help change things from how they are. He wants to get away from the 'stairs' I understand but I feel I can't place an exact point on what he is meaning with it metaphorically. He states that he wishes he 'was a better brother, better son' and helping defeat the 'evil I have done'. To myself, I see it as these are examples of his past sins that he wants to either redeem or erase. Domingo en fuego translates to Sunday on Fire 'I think I lost my halo' could be referring to something along religious lines, for instance the whole our mind and body being a spiritual battle ground where our should is fought for. And Sunday on fire sounds like the idea of the church in flames, which is pretty bad, added to the halo lyrics sounds like stuff is not great right now, thus why he wants to be polarized. My take |

| Twenty One Pilots – Message Man Lyrics | 10 years ago |

Ok so I am rolling with this after having read Lane -Boy an earlier track on the album. I feel that this song is one of the 'common' ones he refers to in the track Lane Boy. He is rhyming quickly over a beat and starts with a catchy chorus ;and even the part before the second verse oddly sounds similar to dark horse by Katy perry's song beat. The 'Loser' in the 'mask' is himself, and on this common sounding song, he feels terrible compared to 'other times'. He is 'in denial' during 'suicidal sessions' as in he hates that he is making a song that sounds so cut copy. Then he touches on how many songs that have been very pop like lately have meaningless lyrics that are un original and similar to their predecessors. And he talks about his 'people' singing that together 'we will see the future' My take |

| @[cathartic225:4203] Great breakdown! Could not have put it better at all, and I totally dig the part about Tyler admitting that some of the songs on this album sound common, but it is so much more awesome because he actually acknowledges it mid song! | |
