"The bars" could be one of three things. 1) A metaphorical prison cell in which Smith has trapped himself in via addiction. 2) Actual bars or clubs where he goes to drink, and "kisses" these drinks from one bar to another. 3) Benzodiazepines, which are central nervous system depressants with a high risk for addiction and is often paired with alcohol for more desirable and stronger effects, and prescribed in the form of bars (e.g. xanax, valium)

Park Ave. – It's A Life Lyrics 10 years ago
Interpreted in a literal sense, I believe that this song is about a couple living in a trailer park, either filming or acting in pornographic films; hence "Where the young are the restless on the set", and since the scene at the diner two on two". These lines seem like sexual innuendo. Also, sleazy sex movie biz people often live in trailers while they film a movie, and there is a stereotype that they also get themselves wrapped up in some tight situations (e.g. drugs, prostitution), hence "shot in the back of the lot".
