| This song is basically about two lovers. Although, he's not sure the girl really loves him so he says to keep her heart open and not closed off. It feels like prey because it's constantly back and forth with the girl. He's wondering it it's his fault about their relationship. He also wants the girl to be free from their relationship, but at the same time she helps him. It took me a little time to try to figure it out but I think that... Half remebered,half way across the world- means that it's been so long since he's actually settled down so half of the people he's interacted with remember him. Twice removed from a second home- is that he wasn't around that much and that he hasnt been paying his monthly rent so they avicted him. I feel like he was growing up faster than all his other friends, already getting a house when he says. I'm twice the man that I thought I was yesterday.
