| Disturbed – This Venom Lyrics | 6 years ago |

@[fenris1102:32421] David said to Loudersound.com in an interview that “All of these songs are pretty blatant,” David tells us. “There’s not a lot of cryptic writing going on – it’s pretty black and white.” He wen't on to explain all the meaning of the songs except for This Venom and Uninvited Guest. If we are to go with the flow of how black and white the other songs are I'm inclined to agree with you. As I was listening to the song I thought this venom could be religion but, really it can be anything that drives a wedge between people or a groups of people. Heck, it could be sports! |

| Disturbed – Watch You Burn Lyrics | 6 years ago |
| Having my own medical diagnosis I am no stranger to doctors and in particular the drugs. I feel like this song can actually relate to this, might be a far fetch but its my interpretation. People with whatever diagnosis are feed with drugs that are supposed to make you feel better, help you battle your diagnosis and get your life back, while in reality, we're mostly given poison that has a phone book's worth of nasty side effects that are often worse than the diagnosis was in the first place, but hey, if it works, it works and the doctors and the big pharmaceutical companies especially making billions in revenue just simply sit back and watch you burn. They'll just smile and watch you burn. | |
| Avenged Sevenfold – Nightmare Lyrics | 11 years ago |

I have to disagree with all of you. Seeing how Avenged Sevenfold have many song revolving around war, I also think this is. However its about the aftermath where doctors might tell you that you are sick, suffering from post dramatic stress. Can't wake up in a sweat 'Cause it ain't over yet Still dancing with your demons Victim of your own creation Beyond the will to fight Where all that's wrong is right Where hate don't need a reason Loathing self-assassination You still question what you have done. You are not sure what is right and wrong and fighting with your own creation. It seems obvious to me. And the music video don't seem so far of either. You are in a mental hospital, but you feel like you don't belong there. Fight Not to fail Not to fall Or you'll end up like the others You have to keep fighting, or else you'll end up dead just like your comrades. Die Die again Drenched in sin With no respect for another Die(Kill) kill again drenched in sin, but you cannot respect or hesitate to kill your enemies that are fighting for the same things you are fighting for. You should have known The price of evil And it hurts to know That you belong here, yeah No one to call Everybody to fear Your tragic fate is looking so clear, yeah Ooh, it's your fuckin' nightmare In the end, your acts have a price and you start to think that you really are sick, you do belong here. All your comrades are dead, no one to call. Yet everybody to fear(Post dramatic stress will often bring you back to the battle field), the rest of your fate is looking clear, you are sick and this is your nightmare. |
