Response to Notexactly I don't think it's either of those words. She's reffering to her own name "Lorde" as the big name. When a fighter goes into the ring, it's their name that they want to hear being shouted, to be big. Good question angus10561! I believe thats a question all artists ask themselves once they are in the glory of their success. Can't be free in a ring of competion, its all or nothing. It's more about who their souls belong to. That's a pretty big name to claim. I'm not saying she's claiming to be that title. She's telling herself "Secretly you love it, why would you want to be free" in a sense that she made a contract and she is ready to be known, no looking back. "Free" meaning leaving/changing her mind of what shes getting into. If you really want to know with who the contract is with its not just her record deal. Take a good look at her album artwork for The Love Club EP. This is before she gets recognized. See that snake around her on her shoulders, that serpent seriously represents the devil. The rings and jewelry represent promised riches from fame, she knows what she's going to get. And the animal (rat) is the blood sacrifice. She uses the word blood quite a few times in her songs. To mention Glory and Gore which means "bloodshed" from violence or abuse. And does talk about "punched" "shiner" same meaning. There is also a bruse under her right eye. This song I think has a sick meaning that people cannot see unless they recognized that she had a conversation with serpent sitting on her shoulder. Yes spirits good and evil are real, God and Satan are very real. Matthew 4:1-11 talks about how the devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness & what he tried to promise. I'm curious to know what people think of her dark artwork?? This song is talking about her joining the music industry, like a gang, making a deal to be in a sinister industry for fame. The heart of the industry is a pagan Occult and some of their souls are given to the devil like Lil Wayne, Gaga, Nicki, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Jay-Z long list. To ensure their success in the game. This song explains what needs to be done to be in the "ring" to make "headlines" Be famous. There are rituals and blood sacrifices that go on in the occult. I have no doubt shes has a darker persona, mystical, and she likes skeletons and has a eerie blank look in her videos. Please also read my reply under habberdash. Thanks. This song is not about her days in school or her clique of childhood friends. She is joining a part of the music industry that is an Occult, "club", pagan worship. I will explain. There are key words here she says that takes it in depth to the illuminati. Now, she is not in the Pyramid system, she can never be in the bloodline because she is new, as she sang about in Royals. She has basically sold her soul to the devil for fame. Her EP album artwork for the song is huge statement of what is happening. Snake= serpent/devil. She didn't choose a cute heart or a school or a memory of friends theme. No. She may not scream it out loud like Keisha but there are some words here that hint of the "clique", the group, the "club". We can rule out her friends and family because she sings in the end..."The only problem that I got with the club Is how you're severed from the people who watched you grow up." Some can't be as close to their families after fame. Initiation. It's just like a gang. And gangs are still real. They beat you till you bleed when you come in, they have your back as they say for life but when you try to leave, you die. So people stay in the game, they stay in the gang to be protected even if they want to leave. "The card games and ease with the bitter salt of blood" This is not playing card games like in school. It is a reference to witchcraft/blackmagic and blood as in a sacrifice ritual (animals or people) who knows...or an initiation of some kind. The rat represents a blood sacrifice in her EP artwork. If you follow, you can begin to see that this is taking about the occult, the lyrics aren't entirely sugar coated, you just have to pay attention and not get lost in the beats. The chorus is telling people to join the music industry, if you have what it takes because fame will make you "glow". People please don't sell your soul to the devil, this is real shit ok. People can get weird and be demon possed on stage like Nicki Minaj & Gaga. At one concert, Gaga says in the mic, "I hate the truth" than slurrs off the word "Jesus." She means the Bible and it states that Jesus is the Truth, the life and the way. Then she starts crazily shouting to her fans "assholes" and swears a bunch. Demons hate God. That's definitely demon possession speaking throuh her. Crazy shit. Anyway. "Fights", "girls get their claws out" and "wicked kids" referring to the competition of who is the sexiest female in the music scene or sold more hits. We all know Beyonce is it right! Now take a look at the first line of the last verse of the song. The only liquid mentioned in the song is "blood", you can interpret the meaning of "clothes are soaked" as in blood. Remember...society, club, gang, music industry...Illuminati. The entire paragraph is talking about someone leaving after a ritual and " maps and papers of HIDING places again", they want to leave. She talks about wanting to leave. But she just got famous, what does she mean? "When you're a member go on your adventure again." Think of the entire verse as a gang member wanting to leave his gang. What happens when he tries? He dies. "They will be waiting for you at the end." Sadly some artists and famous people over time have been killed off. "Take the pill, make it too ill" I believe Michael J. was killed intentionally. He was starting to talk about the industry before his last tour. Everyone mysteriously goes with an overdose of pills right? See the linking of words. I hope you guys can now begin to see the pure evil that is actually a driving force behind everything they do and say. It is a pyramid of occult worship that keeps fueling their success. Just because she wrote it before doesn't mean that fame wasn't going to happen for her. The lyrics "My mother's love is choking me." is like a cry out. Her song is like a application for employment or acceptance into the Hollywood society. Fame is at a cost in Hollywood believe it or not. If you don't know that there are sinister kinds of workings, magic and pagan worship behind the music scene than you need to open your eyes and do some research. Her very own EP artwork is a huge statement she is making. It is a serpent snake on her shoulders, her eye is brused as she talks about being pumched. This is a serious representation of the devil on her shoulders. The animal is a sacrifice and the promise is riches & fame like the jewelry & rings on her fingers. Oh my God I'm just seeing her album cover now & it is so crazy obvious. Her bruise represents torture meaning Monarch Programming aka MKultra. Don't tell me she doesn't look like she's under a spell or hypnosis in her music videos. Think of it this way, if the devil came to her shoulders and said that he'd give her all of the earths glory & riches if only she would acknowledge him and worship. Now check this out, Matthew 4:1-11 in the Bible talks about Satan tempting Jesus saying the same things, but Jesus knew who God was and His power is greater. I know this when I see it because her Love Club artwork is also a refference to Eve and the serpent in the Garden of Eden, when he tempts her and is successful. Knowing that go read the lyrics again, it makes perfect scary sense. Responses anyone? |

"A beautiful unfolding" is the passing of time, thoughts coming to the surface, questioning, doubting , hoping, feelings developing and waiting for that time. A beautiful song. It is my thoughts as well. Reminds me of someone from my past and I hope our lives cross paths again someday soon, because over time I have fallen for the man that he is, and I would love to marry him someday ;) Great song writing! |
