Well, I have always wondered.... there is one word (maybe up to three) which is always marked as one of the (?) in lyrics from this album I hear it in Hatebreeder, Warheart, Children of Bodom and few other songs from later albums. Three years I am searching for this word and nothing, so maybe you can help. It sounds like Dorieyes or something like that... Wonder if it is not from finnish or something. You can hear it in Children of Bodom at 3:46, Hatebreeder 1:30 etc... |

Maybe the fact that he is part of the 'current biggest metal acts' makes him feel so alone... Almost no time for family, no time for relationship and to be honest i would not want to tour with the same 4 guys for 15 years after all. The submarine effect must be strong here... And the only way to avoid is to instinctively become introvert and that makes one to feel alone, I know the feeling, not from touring, but from my other time-eating actions. Five years I am without girlfriend (or one-night girlfriend, just hand) I haven't spoken to my family properly for years and I've got only one human being which is my closest friend (no romance involved) but I really feel the submarine effect. So far I think, that although you really want to become famous, after it happens just comes everything bad with it and it is hard to swallow... And you can't be sure that the women around you aren't only into your fame and money... You know what I mean, all these teens on web who write down they want to marry him, it is the point where you start to think if this is not only the way of web-chicks but also the way of all women close around you... And you become paranoid... and I have this feeling from Alexi's lyrics more and more as he's getting more and more famous, because if you take your time to think upon the lyrics, every single lyrics he wrote down (with exception of Bodom songs) are about how it feels to be alone. I bet my ass he had some problems with solitude as a child, maybe not inside of his family, but at school or whatever... |

he really is not the main suspect... in 2004 he was charged again then he was in pre-prison (dont know the better term english is my 4th language so far) but he was cleaned of all charges because of DNA test and the fact that he received 10 stabbing wounds as well and those were the kind you can't do to yourself cause that pain simply is unbearable. Only one thing that made him to be suspect is that the girl who had around 100 wounds or around that was the girl he have had an argument with so far... nothing more... he received 40000 euro after all to compensate the psychical pressure... |

17 but whatever... (Alexi was born in 1979 and the Something Wild album was recorded in 1997 thet means that he was 18 years old when they recorded this album and these songs were written shortly after releasing their third demo tape as Inearthed in early 1996 which included IMHO the best song Alexi has ever written - Talking of the Trees. I would like to live long enough to see CoB to rerecord all Inearthed Demo tapes into one Album, because they will never be able to make anything better... |
