i was at the concert tonight and oli said that this song is about relapse. he didnt say anything about what it is a relapse to, but i guess it applies to anything. "its the start of the end, surrender the throne" - I'm guessing this means its like starting again, (whether this be drugs, self harm..etc) but also ending things such as happiness, or health. Relapsing is starting on a path to deterioration. Surrender your proudness and happiness of getting so far, i.e the throne. "We've been surrounded, by vicious cycles. And we're truly alone" -Its a cycle, always coming back to relapsing. Also you may feel like you have nobody to turn to for help or comfort, alone. I dont know, the rest you can figure out yourself im tired, been thrown around mosh pits all night haaa |
