For question 1, I think it can be both. Sometimes for one song it could be because you are going through something when you listen to it, and other songs it just stirs something up in you. And sometimes it can be a combination of both. :)

this isn't an interpretation, but just remembering how the song made me feel when it came out. or rather, how the life experience made me feel about the song. I was in love with a girl, madly. I was a fool indeed! She told me she couldn't feel the same way & seemed so distant. Of course, then this song plays in my head all night as I cried & cried. Lot of feeling when I listen to it. |

lol I don't think he is asking those very things from her in return. yes, it is overboard to rhyme off those things, but he's saying that if he had to block her from being shot or having her explode by a grenade, he'd catch it. a bit graphic yeah & not sure why he says these. he's saying he'd risk his life for her & go through physical pain/pain to spare her from experiencing it. so he would instead of her. but she "threw it all away" & it just hurts that she doesn't return devotion to him when he'd risk his life for her. (& I hope he doesn't expect her to take a knife through the head or self harm for him otherwise yeah that's fucked & he's seriously disturbed & creepy/threatening actually.) he's using extreme examples to show his upsetness & deep hurt at her sudden lack of interest/change of heart. ouch. but I'm sure he'll "get over it". |

only beneficial if you are able to tell who IS two-faced. because it is very hard, & that's what screwed you over in the first place, not knowing who was. the only real lesson in not just ruling the fakes out & getting closer to the one for you, but the lesson is in being able to distinguish who is fake/sketch prettymuch off the bat.

friends should be able to hit it off & not stop being friends just because of a time of distance/a mental condition. even though people try to help, they can't really when someone is depressed somtimes because it's a condition that needs to be treated.. it's not that a depressed person is trying to be a jerk even tho it seems like they don't care/are being selfish by shutting people out/isolating themselves. that shouldn't be the only reason why they're not really friends anymore. |

I was just talking about the situation & how I felt. just trying to make sense of reality & how I felt when I felt desperate. that doesn't mean I'm necessarily feeling desperate now. I just wanted to give my opinion on what feeling desperate is. I want how I felt to be acknowledged/real to people because a lot of people have not gone through those unique circumstances. |
