| Creed – On My Sleeve Lyrics

Stapp's talking about Christ. "Walk with me, talk with me. Hold my hand, I'm stumbling." He's talking about how he's struggling in life and he needs help. So he turns to God and Christ and asks them to remove the pain of his mistakes. It's about wearing your emotions and your mistakes (the analogy of the heart tatttooed on his sleeve) and asking God to remove them, so that he can finally be free of his sins, like all of mankind suffer from their own sins. It's all about turning to God when we need help, and he will remove the pain, like he did in Gethsemane. |

"Time, you're no friend of mine." Powerful song. This is talking about how time robs us in life. Stapp spent years as an alcoholic. Although he's sober, he's saying that time has robbed him and he has no time to make those mistakes again. |

I believe the song is about trying to forget the past. Stapp's afraid that things he's done wrong in the past will affect him today, so many years later. So he sings about forgetting the past and looking to the future. It's all about forgetting your past mistakes and refusing to let your mistakes rob you of your freedom. |

| Creed – Full Circle Lyrics

The whole song is about choosing between greed, or selflessness. The song says, "Keep burning bridges while you're buying your new friends
A day of reflection hits, you're a shell, skin and bones, counting costs
Is it worth your soul?" It means what it says, choosing to become part of the world (corruption, love, greed and pride) or choosing the other side (love, service and honor). You have to choose what side you're on and Stapp chooses the side of the Lord. |
