I think this song is about being depressed and passive-aggressive, and that the singer describes how to put up with this in a way which shows a lot of patience from his side, while barely managing to take it anymore. This could be a result by long-time mistreatment from a girl, because what hits me is that it could be a description of almost any failed relationship with a girl (or a guy). That's why it is important not to lose yourself completely in another person. This guy has had enough of listening to others so-called "advices". He seems to understand now (finally) that he never had a problem until you came his way and made it so, and now he feels a little lost and angry for making him stick with you all this time. This is his moment to finally consider new possibilities and breaking free. |
